I am experienced photographing expectant moms and I am passionate about capturing this transitional period. I know firsthand the emotional rollercoaster that you’re on - wondering how life will be different, what pieces of you will change, and what you will hold onto. The truth is, a child changes you in the best and most unexpected ways. They make you reevaluate yourself, your life, your goals, what you value; all of it. For many moms, the road to that positive pregnancy test is not linear, it’s full of emotion and celebrating this time for what it is, is important.
For many months they’re a part of us, intertwined in the most physical way. And then they’re not. And yet, they continue to physically change us, stretch us, pieces of them forever imprinted upon our brains and hearts. And us on them. I offer a Kamloops maternity and newborn photography experience that focuses on connection and I look forward to meeting you and your family at a time of great apprehension. I am based in Kamloops BC and sessions take place here; travel can be arranged for an additional fee.

I typically recommend between 30-35 weeks of pregnancy. This ensures you're still comfortable with a nice round belly!
This may differ for second, third, and fourth time moms as you may begin to show earlier. Please keep this in mind.

My newborn sessions are family centered and I do not 'pose' newborns, therefore you are welcome to book your session whenever you feel ready and rested.

All outdoor sessions are booked either at sunset or sunrise, to ensure best lighting for optimal results.
Studio sessions are typically booked late morning/early afternoon.

Yes! I send a prep and style guide ahead of your session to help with this, and I am an email, text, or phone call away to help style you if desired.
Styling has such a huge impact on your final images, that I encourage you to consider the styling advice provided in your prep guide.
